Prep Stems: Remove any leaves that would sit below the waterline. Trim 1–2 cm from the stem ends at a 45° angle using sharp shears under running water

Vase & Water: Place stems in a clean vase filled one-third with cool, fresh water. Add flower food if available—chrysanthemums respond especially well to it.

Placement: Keep away from direct sunlight, strong AC, or fruit bowls; chrysanthemums last longest in moderate, indirect light.

Maintenance: Change the water and re-trim stems every 2–3 days. Remove any fading outer petals to keep the blooms fresh and full.

Revival: If blooms start to droop, re-cut stems and place in deep, lukewarm water for 30 minutes to rehydrate.
